East Berlin reminds me of a cross between Milwaukee and Minsk. We are staying a block from where the wall was, in what must have been a high-end East German Apartment. I can’t imagine being able to watch West Germany progress from your living room window yet not being able to enter. Mammoth city. Cleaner than expected.
Turns out that Angelina Jolie is visiting The Hague today. Figures that I’m in Germany. Such is my life.
